Revamp LA Magazine is having a competition to find the best short video of 2009. We are looking for original and creative work that shows off just how talented the people of our fair city are. Deadline is January 20th. The winner will be screened during the Revamp LA print release party "The {VD} Party", and will be featured on our site.

Rules & Regulations

*Short films that are submitted must be the entrants original work and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.
*Contestants agree that they have obtained all required permissions regarding music, sound and/or images presented in your short film.
*By entering the competition, the entrant agrees that Revamp LA magazine will not be held liable for any copyright infringements perpetrated by you or your short film.
*Revamp LA reserves the right to feature all submissions on the Revamp LA magazine website. *Winner's will be required to sign an affidavit confirming that their short film is original and he/she holds all rights. Failure to sign and return the form within the required time period (30 days) or provision of false information may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected.
*Entrants will retain all ownership rights to their films submitted.
*By entering the Revamp LA Best of 09 Short Film Competition, contestants and/or their parents or legal guardian (if such entrant is a minor) agree to accept and be bound by the decisions of the competition and its judges which are final and binding in all matters. *Entrant agrees to be bound by all terms of these official competition rules and regulations as established herein.

Judging

*Winner will be selected based on a tally of votes obtained via the Revamp LA magazine website, as well as an impartial judging panel consisting of Revamp LA staff and contributors. *The winner will be screened during the Revamp LA print release party on Feb. 13th, as well as a prominent feature on the Revamp LA website.
